Staffordshire SF Community of Practice
0
Hello, I thought I would share the latest plans from the Staffordshire's SF Community. We have a number of very interesting projects on the go at present that could possibly have a great impact on the future of SFA in and around Staffordshire as well as beyond.
We had a lovely Indian curry last evening as this was our first Interest group 'on the road', we now have plans to take the roadshow around Staffordshire and have plans to include people from the Creative Arts, sports industry, general public, local media, business as well as healthcare and Social services.
The exciting plans fall very much into the category of promoting SF practice in a range of fields as well as everyday life. Based on our success with the youtube videos from last years conference we plan to develop more interactive films, the kind of films you can distribute via CD rom as well as snippets for youtube, we hope to film more interviews at the next Conference possibly in a video booth. We also have plans to write a number of articles for publications that fit in the back pocket of the general public and will have the themes of "Catching your child doing good" as well as "be your own family therapist".
We also have many of our CoP members being readied to deliver training to the whole of a Mental Health Service which Steve Freeman has yet to make fully public.
So all in all we have an exciting year ahead of us in Staffordshire which will have an impact on the UK, I would like to thank all my fellow members of the Staffordshire CoP for this continuing commitment during their 'shift'.
Carl
